1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Deutsch Hero ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Deutsch Hero is a language learning application that helps users learn German noun genders (der, die, das) through spaced repetition, gamification, and daily practice drills.
3. User Accounts
To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address, username, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
- Impersonate other users
- Submit offensive or inappropriate usernames
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, content, features, and functionality, is owned by Deutsch Hero and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of custom word collections you create. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process your learning data to provide the service.
7. Leaderboards
By participating in leaderboards and leagues, you consent to your username and XP scores being visible to other users.
8. Availability
We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the App or the account deletion page.
10. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
